Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Showcase Platform (Ruby on Rails) team. This remote US role focuses on building and scaling the internal demo platform that represents the Huntress product and supports pre-sales and customer demonstrations.

You will define technical direction, drive end-to-end Rails experiences, and collaborate across engineering, product, and sales to ensure reliability, observability, and product enablement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and evolving complex software products.
• 5+ years Rails production experience; lead architecture.
• Experience with relational data models in Rails.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive direction.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product and go-to-market.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Rails solutions for Showcase.
• Define technical direction and roadmap for Showcase initiatives.
• Improve observability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering to translate goals.
• Mentor engineers and lead through influence.
