Job summary

Huntress Labs Incorporated is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Endpoint Security Posture Management (ESPM) platform. This remote position focuses on building innovative solutions to fight cyber threats, leveraging Ruby on Rails and AI coding tools.

With 10+ years of experience and a commitment to security, you will work closely with co-founders to develop market-leading solutions while mentoring junior engineers and improving code quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing complex software products.
• 5+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with AI coding tools, such as Claude Code.
• Experience with relational databases, such as Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions using primarily Ruby on Rails.
• Deliver code quickly and efficiently for rapid value delivery and testing.
• Implement efficient data pipelines.
• Collaborate with security researchers.
• Be a technical thought leader for your team.
• Continuously improve solution quality through code reviews.
• Set standards for excellence and develop processes.
• Lead junior engineers to deliver larger projects.
• Design systems to process petabytes of data.
