Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Showcase Platform to push the Rails-based product forward in a remote US setting. You will own technical direction, lead complex implementations, and mentor engineers across UI, backend, and integrations.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable demos that reflect the Huntress platform. You’ll apply strong architectural judgement, influence roadmap, and ensure best practices across

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and evolving complex software products, at staff level.
• Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails production systems (5+ years).
• Experience with relational data models and production databases in Rails.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and set technical direction.
• Strong collaboration across product, design, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Showcase solutions in Ruby on Rails.
• Define technical direction for Showcase initiatives and platform capabilities.
• Improve instrumentation, analytics, and monitoring to support growth experiments.
• Partner with Product and engineering to convert roadmap into technical work.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across stakeholders.
