Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 3G & H telemetry/medical-surgical unit, a 37-bed area specializing in orthopedic, neuro/spine, stroke care and general cardiac telemetry. The RN provides compassionate, evidence-based care through assessment, treatment, education, and care planning while supporting admissions, transfers and discharges.

Requirements include Kentucky RN licensure, a BSN or ADN, BLS (with 30 days to obtain if needed), ACLS/PALS/NRP, and

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• ADN or BSN; if ADN with <10 years experience, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire if not already.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.

Responsibilities

• The RN implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient with a healing environment.
• Provides direct patient care, nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Delivers patient and family education and participates in individualized care planning.
