Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The role supports general medical-surgical and telemetry care for patients with complex co-morbidities, from ICU/ED/PACU transfers.

You will perform nursing assessments, plan and evaluate care, and ensure compliance with department policies. Requires active Kentucky RN license, BLS, and additional certifications (ACLS/PALS or ENPC).

Qualifications

• Completion and maintenance of BLS; ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire; NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Follow the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision.
• Maintain plan for delivery of nursing care and ensure adherence to policies.
• Access medication storage areas as required for task execution.
