Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, first-shift role in its telemetry/medical-surgical unit in Kentucky. The RN will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care, coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, and educate patients and families as part of an integrated care plan.

The role emphasizes patient-centered assessment, treatment and care coordination on a busy unit serving orthopedic, neuro/spine, stroke and cardiac patients.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• If ADN and <10 years experience, enroll in BS within 12 months and finish within 5 years.
• BLR: Basic life support required within 30 days of hire if not on file.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class completion as required by department.

Responsabilités

• Provide evidence-based nursing care through assessment, treatment, care coordination, education, and individualized care planning.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges on the unit.
• Coordinate patient care with emphasis on rounds, assessments, treatments and family education.
