Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and deliver professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN or be pursuing, bring compassionate patient care, and be able to work a 7a-7p shift in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in GA in good standing without limitations.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adheres to scope of practice as defined by Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
