Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role requires GA RN licensure and current BLS certification, with BSN preferred and at least two years of RN experience.

Responsibilities include delivering patient care, adhering to established guidelines, and documenting interventions during the 7P-7A shift with weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Current BLS certification.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years RN experience preferred.
• Additional life-support or clinical certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Act within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Independently carry out nursing interventions and document care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
