Northside Hospital Inc. in Cumming, Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide independent nursing care to patients. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a valid RN license in Georgia. Responsibilities include detailed patient care planning in accordance with physician orders.

The ideal candidate will have additional certifications such as BLS and experience in clinical settings. Work hours are from 7am to 7pm, and Northside is committed to offering quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7am-7pm
