Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements include GA RN licensure in good standing, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Act in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7PM-7AM
