Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to assess patient needs and provide professional nursing care in alignment with physician orders and guidelines. You will work within the scope defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed in Georgia with BLS, and may hold a BSN or higher. Work hours are from 6:45am to 7:15pm in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold BLS certification in American Heart Association standards.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adheres to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and established unit policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

6:45am-7:15pm
