Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Georgia to provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and state guidelines. REQUIRED: RN license in GA and BLS; BSN preferred; at least 2 years of RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP or similar certs encouraged.

Color vision may be required for specific units. Work hours are night shifts (7p-7:30a) with rotating weekends; on-call is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; two years RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines, in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Work hours include night shifts with rotating weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

• BSN Degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
