Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. You will practice within the scope defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ensuring quality care across our care teams.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, BLS certification, and a BSN or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN Degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional life support credentials or clinical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

1. BSN Degree
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
