Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Professional Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred, with 2 years of RN experience a plus. Night shift 7 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends; on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

• BSN Degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7PM-7:30AM
