Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to design and develop RF hardware for satellites and aerospace systems. You will handle RF circuits, board-level schematics, PCB layout, and system concepts including link budgets and phased array components.

The role requires 8+ years in RF design, proficiency with CST/ADS/Altium, and hands-on lab experience. Excellent written and verbal communication are essential for design reviews and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of RF electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CST, ADS, and Altium tools.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own RF circuits and systems through all development stages from concept to in-orbit support.
• Perform board-level schematic design and PCB layout for RF circuits.
• Apply system concepts such as link budgets, modulation schemes, and phased array components.
• Prepare design review materials and contribute to proposals.
