Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to lead board-level RF electronics design for satellite and aerospace systems. You will design RF circuits, perform system-level analyses, and guide all phases from concept to testing and qualification.

Responsibilities include schematic design, PCB layout, simulations, and test design, with opportunities to present reviews to customers and support proposals. Excellent communication skills are essential in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of RF design, analysis, and test experience.
• Experience with CST, ADS, and Altium.
• Hands-on with lab instruments (VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits and systems through all development phases.
• Create block diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, simulations, and test plans.
• Present design reviews to customers and executives.
• Contribute to proposals and in-orbit support activities.
