Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to design RF electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. You will handle board-level schematics, PCB layouts, and system-level concepts like link budgets and modulation schemes.

The role involves design reviews, simulations, and test design, with opportunities to work in a startup-like environment. Excellent communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CST and ADS, and EDA tools such as Altium; hands-on with lab instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF hardware design from concept through requirements definition, part selection, detailed design, and testing.
• Create block diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, simulations, and test designs for RF systems.
• Present engineering design reviews to customers and executives, and contribute to proposals.
