The Staff Avionics RF Electrical Engineer at E‑Space will lead the RF PCBA design lifecycle for space-based satellite communications hardware, reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering in Saratoga, CA. The role demands 10+ years in RF circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and rigorous testing.

The ideal candidate will design RF circuits (LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers, modulation), perform RF simulations (HFSS, ADS, SPICE), and guide cross‑disciplinary reviews to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years RF circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout and testing.
• Proficiency with LNAs, PAs, filtering, mixers and signal modulation.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• RF simulations using HFSS, ADS, SPICE, and Excel.
• Experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own RF PCBA designs from clean sheet to flight.
• Develop PCBA requirements, architectures, and con-ops with other engineering disciplines.
• Design RF circuits including amplifiers, filters, DACs/ADCs, path tuning and simulations.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• Circuit analysis and simulations of RF signals, power, and reliability.
• PCBA design verification, qualification testing, and system integration testing.
• Lead design reviews for inter-disciplinary audiences.
• Production manufacturing support as needed.
