Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to lead system test planning, execution, and automation for lab, field, and on-orbit validation. You will design test strategies, build test setups, and ensure accuracy and repeatability across time zones.

You will work with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems teams, bring deep RF knowledge, Python automation, and strong problem-solving skills to enable successful satellite component development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of RF test and validation experience with product launches.
• Deep understanding of wireless communications, satellite systems, and link budgets.
• Experience with RF transceiver measurements (noise figure, ACLR, gain, phase noise).
• Proficiency with test equipment and Python for automation.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand system requirements and architecture in depth.
• Define test plans and test strategies for lab, field and on-orbit testing.
• Ensure timely execution, test accuracy and repeatability.
• Automate test execution and control of test equipment.
• Document test results, coverage, and KPIs for stakeholders.
• Design lab setups and build test rigs for executing the plan.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems teams across time zones.
• Investigate root-cause issues and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
