Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Staff-level engineer to design and build an intelligent, automated quality engineering system. You will craft AI-powered workflows for test generation, regression testing, failure analysis, and intelligent bug triage, embedding quality into every development cycle.

You will own the test automation architecture across web apps, APIs, and end-to-end flows, mentor engineers, and establish standards that scale with product complexity.

Qualifications

• Staff-level engineering with deep quality engineering or test automation experience.
• Hands-on programming and production-grade test automation framework development.
• Extensive automation of web apps, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic QA systems: AI-powered workflows for test generation, automated regression testing, failure analysis, and intelligent triage.
• Own test automation architecture: scalable frameworks for web apps, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
• Make quality continuous: embed automated checks into CI/CD and release processes.
• Automate regression and triage: detect regressions, identify root causes, classify failures, reduce manual investigation.
• Improve testing intelligence: identify coverage gaps and generate/test scenarios based on changes and risk.
• Design QA for scale: handle increasing product complexity and velocity without proportional QA staffing.
• Establish quality observability: provide visibility into test reliability and release readiness.
• Raise the engineering bar: mentor engineers and set testing standards.
