Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Project Manager for the Systems Engineering organization, onsite in Rancho Bernardo, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on staffing, workforce planning, and program governance across multiple IPTs, with a Secret clearance requirement.

You will manage staffing plans, onboarding, labor category alignment, and risk tracking, collaborating with leadership, Talent Acquisition, HR, and Security to ensure schedule and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of military/professional experience or a master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
Experience in workforce planning, staffing coordination, and resource management.
Active US Government Secret clearance or higher; ability to obtain SAP/PAR clearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain integrated staffing plans aligned to contract scope, budget, and milestones.
Coordinate internal engineer assignments and onboarding for programs.
Monitor staffing mix and educate leadership on gaps, surpluses, and corrective actions.
Maintain clearance and access requirements across program IPTs and security.
Prepare staffing status, trends, and risks for program reviews and leadership forums.
