Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Project Manager onsite in Rancho Bernardo, CA, El Segundo, CA or Palmdale, CA. You will lead staffing, onboarding, and manpower planning for complex programs, coordinating with CAMs/IPT leads, HR, and Security.

Must hold a relevant degree with extensive experience in staffing, workforce planning, or project operations, and you will manage clearance-related risks and dashboards for program reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD with relevant military/professional experience as described.
• Experience working in complex engineering/technical environments supporting multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with workforce planning, staffing coordination, or resource management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrated staffing plans aligned to contract scope, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate internal staff assignments and onboarding to open positions.
• Monitor staffing mix against baseline plans and adjust as needed.
• Maintain clearance and access coordination with Security and program leadership.
• Prepare staffing status, trends, and risks for leadership reviews.
• Execute staffing processes and suggest local process improvements.
