Job summary

Flexport seeks a Staff Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Automation) to architect and implement tomorrow’s Fulfillment network. You will own automation design (ASRS, robotics), build financial models, and drive floor implementation with ROI accountability.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, product, and engineering, delivering scalable, bankable solutions. You will write SQL, prototype workflows on the floor, and partner with engineering and finance to ensure multi-site

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fulfillment, logistics, or operations strategy with automation exposure.
• Engineering degree or related technical field.
• End-to-end ownership of large capital programs with ROI ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end automation initiatives from problem to ROI tracking.
• Build ROI models for automation and capital projects; validate with leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams across operations, product, and finance to scale solutions.
• Develop tooling, dashboards, and models using SQL, Python, and BI platforms.
