Job summary

Flexport seeks a Staff Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Automation) to architect and build tomorrow’s Fulfillment network. You’ll own automation projects from whiteboard to go-live, size opportunities with ROI models, and drive on-floor implementation with leadership alignment.

You’ll work across operations, product, engineering, and finance to scale solutions, define SOPs, and set KPIs that become the backbone of Fulfillment execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or ops strategy with automation exposure.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or technical field.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of large capital programs with ROI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end automation initiatives from problem framing to ROI realization.
• Build ROI models for automation and capital projects across sites.
• Define automation requirements from operational data and drive implementation.
• Develop tooling, dashboards, and models using SQL, Python, and BI platforms.
• Scale automation programs across the fulfillment network with cross-functional partners.
• Establish SOPs, KPIs, and reporting cadences for fulfillment operations.
