Job summary

General Motors seeks a Staff Program Intelligence Analyst to lead analytics, data products, and AI initiatives across the PMO. You’ll shape the strategy, governance, and architecture for dashboards and reports, partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to deliver trusted, decision-grade insights.

You will bridge data storytelling with business outcomes, mentor others, and drive adoption of capabilities across the enterprise while contributing as an individual contributor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, data products, management reporting, or a related discipline, including experience leading complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
• Advanced experience with SQL, Python, cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS), and the development or application of AI-driven solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to connect metrics to business strategy and portfolio outcomes, translating operational data into executive-level insights, recommendations, and decision frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, visualization, facilitation, and data storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior audiences and align stakeholders around complex decisions.
• Recognized as a trusted advisor who collaborates across technical, product, and business stakeholders and delivers results without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Program Intelligence strategy, architecture, and governance for dashboards, AI Agents, web apps, and reports.
• Lead the design and delivery of trusted dashboards, data products, and reports that measure program health and delivery performance.
• Create data definitions, measurement frameworks, and governance practices to improve consistency and confidence in decisions.
• Translate business needs into scalable data models, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions with data engineering and IT.
• Synthesize complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Drive adoption and measure business impact of Program Intelligence capabilities through continuous improvement.
