Job summary

General Motors is seeking a People Analytics Analyst to be deployed across the business, partnering with People Analytics Consultants to deliver insights that inform talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.

You’ll leverage your HR data knowledge and analytical skills to advance GM’s analytics capabilities, enabling data-driven decisions at scale, with a remote-friendly setup and hybrid options for local candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client-facing People Analytics or Human Capital Consulting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, IO Psychology) or HR-related degree.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in inferential statistics and translating data into insights.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex people data and deliver clear, actionable insights to support strategic talent decisions.
• Work independently to determine the best analytical approach, collaborating with People Analytics Consultants.
• Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a compelling, accessible way.
• Support projects related to organizational health, hiring and retention, workforce planning, and employee experience.
• Contribute to developing People Analytics solutions by sharing feedback and ideas.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritizing work with the greatest business impact.
