Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own data flow, cataloging, and governance across its platform. You will ensure access controls, privacy compliance, and robust metadata infrastructure for internal data assets.

Responsibilities include shaping schema evolution, drift detection, semantic mapping, and data asset taxonomy in collaboration with legal, privacy, and engineering teams. This senior role requires strong communication and cross‑functional leadership across hybrid

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience focused on data platforms, governance, or regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on knowledge of modern data catalog and metadata management tools.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, CPRA and emerging privacy frameworks in data products.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap for schema evolution and versioning to ensure compatibility.
• Define drift detection tooling for real-time schema changes across data inputs.
• Build semantic mapping between technical schemas and business glossaries, with privacy tagging.
• Define column-level lineage tracking from source to reports.
• Lead data asset tagging for discoverability, access control, and activation.
• Define taxonomy for data assets including PII and regulatory classification.
• Drive platformization for asset inventory and privacy-embedded governance.
