Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a technically sharp Staff Product Manager to own data flows, cataloging, and governance across its platform. You will align internal data access with privacy, regulatory, and policy constraints while guiding engineering and business stakeholders through complex data problems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience focused on data platforms, governance, or regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on knowledge of modern data catalog and metadata management tools.
• Deep understanding of schema management, versioning, evolution, drift, and semantic mapping.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for schema evolution and versioning, ensuring backward/forward compatibility.
• Define requirements for drift detection tooling monitoring real‑time schema changes across data inputs.
• Build semantic mapping layer linking technical schema columns to business terms in a centralized glossary.
• Define requirements for column‑level lineage tracking from source to reports.
• Own the tagging strategy for data assets to enable discoverability, access control, and downstream activation.
• Drive platformization of data assets across teams and environments with embedded privacy constraints.
