Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own data governance, metadata infrastructure, and privacy-compliance initiatives across our platform. You will bridge internal data access, catalog tooling, and policy with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable data usage.

You will lead schema evolution, lineage, and taxonomy efforts while aligning engineering, legal, and privacy to business goals in a complex ad-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience in data platforms, governance, or compliance.
• Hands-on knowledge of data catalog and metadata management tools at scale.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, CPRA and related privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap for schema evolution, versioning, and compatibility.
• Define drift detection tooling for real-time schema changes.
• Build semantic mapping layer between technical schemas and business terms.
• Define column-level lineage tracking from source to reports.
• Drive asset tagging for discoverability and access control.
• Lead cross-functional governance standards across teams.
