Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Content-to-Discovery Infrastructure, to shape strategy and roadmap for systems linking content supply to user discovery across the platform. You’ll collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to improve retrieval, indexing, enrichment, and serving performance at scale.

You will influence content freshness, relevance, and reliability, driving search and shopping experiences while leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or technical leadership, with experience in content, catalog, or commerce-supply platforms.
• Experience in content or catalog acquisition, data enrichment, or low-latency retrieval systems.
• Proven track record of improving data quality and relevance metrics in complex pipelines.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics that demonstrate impact.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders from engineers to executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive a multi-year strategy for the content-to-discovery ecosystem.
• Own the roadmap for content infrastructure, ensuring adequate supply by category.
• Drive the lifecycle of content processing and metadata enrichment.
• Manage indexing for search and shopping functionality.
• Oversee retrieval and serving, with a focus on performance and latency.
• Define metrics for freshness and reliability, and prioritize investments based on data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peer product managers.
