Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Staff Product Manager to guide the content-to-discovery flywheel. You will shape strategy across content acquisition, processing, indexing, and retrieval/serving, partnering with engineering, data science, and product leaders to ensure the right supply is available across markets.

You will drive data-driven decisions, own critical infrastructure roadmaps, and mentor peers while delivering scalable, high-impact results for Shopping and Search.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or technical leadership, with a track record launching content/catalog/commerce platforms.
• Experience owning content/catalog acquisition and onboarding, data enrichment pipelines, or low-latency retrieval/serving systems.
• Strong ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and measure impact.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive a multi-year strategy for end-to-end content-to-discovery flywheel across acquisition, processing, indexing, and retrieval/serving.
• Own the roadmap for infrastructure supporting content, scraping, and catalog onboarding across categories.
• Oversee extraction, processing, metadata enrichment, and freshness lifecycle to keep data current and trustworthy.
• Own indexing across Shopping and Search.
• Own retrieval and serving with emphasis on latency and performance signals.
• Define metrics for freshness and reliability to prioritize investments.
• Partner with content, shopping, search, and infrastructure teams and mentor peers.
