Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Connectivity Platform to own the strategy and roadmap for connecting external data and partner institutions. You will lead the end-to-end experience for linking external financial accounts, ensuring client value, reliability, and secure access.

This remote role partners with engineering, product design, vendors, and compliance to deliver a high-trust connectivity experience, focusing on authentication, data permissions, and platform integrations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of product management experience on platforms or APIs.
• Strong technical background in APIs, data models, and platform architecture.
• Proven track record of managing external vendor partnerships and integrations.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Product Manager, Connectivity Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own the strategy and roadmap for the company's connectivity and external data platform, with a focus on client value, reliability, and secure access. You will lead the end-to-end experience for linking external financial accounts and improving how data flows between the platform and partner institutions. This position partners closely with engineering, product design, vendors, and compliance stakeholders to deliver a seamless, high-trust connectivity experience.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the connectivity strategy with a focus on client value
• Oversee the end-to-end experience for integrating external bank and brokerage accounts
• Enhance the reliability and success of client connections with financial institutions
• Manage relationships and product integrations with external vendors and partners
• Own the roadmap for the company's public API and external data connectivity
• Ensure a seamless and secure client experience for data permissions and access
• Lead development of platform capabilities for authentication and partner integrations

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of product management experience with a focus on platforms or APIs
• Strong technical background in APIs, data models, and platform architecture
• Proven record of managing partnerships with external vendors and integrating their products
• Ability to analyze and balance reliability, conversion, fraud, and compliance
• Experience in cross-functional leadership including engineering and product design
• Strong analytical skills with experience in metrics-driven decision-making
