Job summary

Facet Wealth in the United States is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own Facet's internal tools and elevate workflows for thousands of members’ daily operations. You will lead UX research, reshape the core platform, and partner with Product Management and Engineering to transform legacy tools into scalable workspaces.

This role focuses on increasing financial planners’ capacity, reducing onboarding friction, and building robust design systems for dense planning tasks.

Qualifications

• Online portfolio required and must show information architecture and complex workflow design.
• 7+ years in product design with data-intensive workflows, internal tools, or specialized professional platforms; fintech experience a plus.
• Comfortable leading user research, discovery, mapping user journeys, prototyping, and partnering with engineering.
• Ability to showcase AI integration to increase efficiency for designer and end users.
• Systems thinker who builds reusable components and patterns and solves systemic problems.
• No-ego teammate who collaborates cross-functionally and aligns stakeholders around UC decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience maintaining design systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete design process for Facet's internal, web-based tools from IA to UI and shipping.
• Translate planning/operational models into intuitive experiences and dense UI patterns.
• Untangle legacy information architecture across internal surfaces to streamline workflows.
• Design workflow solutions for planners and sales teams to optimize meetings, notes, messages, and daily tasks.
• Perform ongoing research with internal teams to validate patterns and identify unmet needs for power users.
• Design interfaces that clearly communicate tool actions and promote automation over manual work.
• Make pragmatic design decisions balancing deep UX with shipped solutions to hit business targets.
