Job summary

Facet is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own internal tools and help scale our fintech-focused platform. You will lead UX research, redesign core workflows, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, intuitive interfaces for planners and sales teams.

The role emphasizes information architecture, systems thinking, and design systems, with a focus on empowering staff while advancing the company's financial planning mission. Remote-friendly across the U.S.

Qualifications

7+ years in product design, shipping software for data-intensive workflows or internal tools.
Strong information architecture, systems thinking, and ability to design for dense workflows.
Experience leading user research, discovery, and high-fidelity prototyping.
Familiarity with AI capabilities to improve designer and user efficiency.
Experience designing financial planning, wealth management, or investing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for Facet's internal, web-based software tools from framing to UI and shipping.
Translate planning and operational mental models into intuitive, dense UI patterns.
Unify fragmented tools into efficient workflows across internal surfaces.
Design workflows for planners and sales teams, enabling scheduling, notes, messages, and daily tasks.
Partner with Product Management and Engineering to prototype and implement designs.
