Checkr is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join the Growth team to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and happy customers. The role emphasizes a self-serve, product-led approach with ownership and initiative.

You will work across teams to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into testable design ideas and help build a strong, user-centric growth system that scales with the product.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional design experience, including Growth/ecommerce context.
• Experience driving conversion, basket price, and product adoption.
• Proven ability to conduct UX research and testing independently.

Responsibilities

• Embed with the Growth team; help define roadmap, vision, and lead design work.
• Own design for funnel optimization, NUX, and personalization for guided flows.
• Leverage AI to create personalized customer experiences.
• Design growth systems, experiments, and new product features translating insights into testable ideas.
• Champion designs delivering seamless experience for SMB users.
• Facilitate workshops to develop winning ideas.
• Distill complex information into simple, beautiful user experiences.
