Job summary

Vanta seeks a Staff Product Designer for Activation in the Self-Serve group. You will set end-to-end activation experience vision, partnering with PMs and engineers to ship strategic roadmaps. You’ll craft agent-first, data-informed experiences and define AI patterns to scale design across teams.

You will mentor designers, lead large initiatives, and present strategy briefs to leadership while driving growth-oriented product design in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and shipping high-quality B2B SaaS products.
• Proven track record designing for activation, onboarding, time-to-value or retention.
• Experience shipping AI-powered or automation-heavy products with a strong POV on human- AI collaboration.
• Ability to set direction in ambiguous, high-stakes spaces: write briefs, tradeoffs, and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set end-to-end activation experience vision from login to activation.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to shape roadmaps and ship iteratively.
• Design agent-first experiences and define AI patterns for cross-team reuse.
• Define activation metrics with data teams and run experiments to move them.
• Lead customer discovery with cross-functional partners and communicate learnings to leadership.
