Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Staff Sales Systems Engineer to lead the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, serving as the primary technical advisor and advocate for SmartCare solutions to business and technical users. You will educate customers through demonstrations, collaborate with the Sales team, and work with IT on deployment methods while assessing networks with industry tools.

Requirements include a BS in IT (or 6+ years) and 4+ years in technical sales or healthcare integration;

Qualifications

• BS in Information Technology or related field, or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years in technical sales or integration development for healthcare organizations.
• Deep understanding of Windows, Linux and Cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of server virtualization.
• 50% travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• You will partner with the Sales team to educate customers on SmartCare solutions through demos and presentations.
• You will work with the customer's IT team to ensure deployment methods and requirements are clear.
• You will qualify customer networks using assessment tools.
• Design Smart Care architecture for deployments and prepare infrastructure assessment reports.
• You will respond to RFIs/RFPs and participate in trade shows and events.
