Job summary

Built is hiring a Staff Product Manager for the Platform team. You will own platform definitions and roadmaps, ensure reliability, and work with cross-functional partners to drive adoption of platform capabilities across lenders, developers, and contractors.

The role emphasizes senior leadership, zero-to-one initiatives, and collaboration with GTM to ensure scalable solutions that move the business forward.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in product management at growth-stage or scaling tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Own definition, execution, and delivery for your product area with PRDs, backlogs, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate needs into a prioritized platform roadmap.
• Partner with the Engineering Director for Platform on scale, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Understand customers deeply—lenders, portfolio managers, owners, developers, and contractors—and invent solutions.
• Define success metrics and OKRs; prioritize the roadmap based on evidence.
• Drive zero-to-one product efforts from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Present roadmaps, delivery plans, and demos to executives and customers with clarity.
• Partner with GTM teams on go-to-market strategy and ensure adoption of platform features.
• Provide feedback on engineering designs and champion customer needs while balancing trade-offs.
• Share best practices to improve cross-team collaboration and velocity.
