Job summary

Built is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Platform team in Nashville. You will own the definition, execution, and delivery for platform components that connect lenders, developers, contractors, and owners, including shared services and APIs.

You will partner with Platform engineering to ensure scale, reliability, and developer productivity, while aligning with GTM for adoption and customer impact. The role requires substantial senior experience, technical acumen, and the ability to

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in product management at growth-stage or scaling technology companies.
• 4+ years managing platform teams and technical products as a Product Manager.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss architectural trade-offs with engineers.
• Proven track record of zero-to-one product building with measurable value.
• Experience running PDLC across multi‑team environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Define and own product area roadmap, PRDs, and sprint plans for high-velocity engineering teams.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate needs into platform investments and roadmaps.
• Partner with Engineering Director for Platform on scale, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Deeply understand customers (lenders, managers, owners, developers) and uncover problems to solve.
• Define success metrics and OKRs; ruthlessly prioritize the roadmap based on evidence and outcomes.
• Lead zero-to-one initiatives from discovery through delivery and iteration.
