Job summary

Coinbase is hiring Staff Software Engineers across several teams within the Developer Infrastructure group in Platform. You will own the tools and systems every Coinbase engineer depends on to build and ship software, including CI and deployment orchestration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Experience designing and shipping backend/platform systems used by many engineers.
• Proven leadership on cross-team initiatives and architectural direction.
• Strong focus on reliability, observability, and fast recovery from incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own core developer infrastructure platforms, including CI/build systems and deployment orchestration.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and platform migrations from design to production.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and drive adoption of the built systems across Coinbase.
• Partner with engineers and leadership to shape technical strategy and improve workflow efficiency.
