Job summary

Payabli is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform to own the infrastructure and developer experience on AWS. You’ll shape how we build, test, deploy, and operate the platform, driving performance and reliability across the stack.

You’ll lead CI/CD, IaC, local development, and AI-assisted tooling, while aligning with leadership on the platform roadmap and PCI‑DSS security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Production AWS environments at scale with real traffic.
• Deep AWS expertise across ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, and IaC tooling.
• Security-minded with PCI-DSS awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Payabli's cloud infrastructure.
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
• Improve local development experience for engineers.
• Enable AI-assisted development environments and tooling.
• Define platform roadmap with engineering leadership.
• Harden infrastructure with PCI-DSS and security controls.
• Implement observability and monitoring for real-time insights.
• Document patterns and create runbooks for the team.
