Corewell Health is seeking a Staff Physicist to join the Radiation Oncology team at Royal Oak Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality radiotherapy planning, treatment delivery, and QA to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The position reports to the Chief of Physics and encompasses clinical service, research, and education/training. It is a part-time, day-shift opportunity at Royal Oak, with affiliation to the Radiation Oncology department.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics or medical physics, or an equivalent doctorate.
• Authorized Medical Physicist (AMP) listed on an NRC license.
• CAMPEP-approved Medical Physics residency in Radiation Oncology or 1–2 years related experience desirable.
• ABR CRT certification preferred or required upon hire (Medical/Therapeutic).

Responsibilities

• Clinical service, treatment planning, and quality assurance for radiotherapy.
• Conduct and review planning and QA to ensure optimal patient care.
• Engage in research/development and education/training as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in physics/medical physics

Doctorate of Medical Physics / AMP NRC
