Job summary

Corewell Health Proton Therapy Center in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Staff Proton Physicist to ensure optimal patient treatment through clinical service, QA/QC, and education. You will contribute to commissioning, validation, and daily operations of the proton therapy program.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in medical physics or physics, CAMPEP residency, and AMP/NRC credentials; prior proton therapy experience is highly desirable. Competitive benefits and on-site responsibilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics or PhD in medical physics or related field.
• Completion of a CAMPEP approved Medical Physics residency in Radiation Oncology.
• 1–2 years of related experience desirable.
• ABR certifications (CRT) upon hire or equivalent.
• Proton therapy clinical service and research experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical radiotherapy service and patient-specific planning.
• Lead QA/QC and commissioning activities for proton therapy systems.
• Engage in research, development and education/training related to proton therapy.
