Job summary

Corewell Health Proton Therapy Center in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Staff Physicist to support radiotherapy planning, QA and clinical service in a high‑tech proton therapy environment. The role involves hands-on validation, commissioning, and daily clinical operations using the ProteusONE system.

Under the leadership of the Chief of Physics, you will contribute to research, development and education, with a focus on delivering optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physics, medical physics, or related field.
• Doctorate in Medical Physics or AMP/NRC authorization.
• CAMPEP residency in Radiation Oncology or 1–2 years’ related experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review radiotherapy patient and equipment related planning and QA.
• Ensure best possible treatment for patients in Proton Therapy Center.
• Contribute to clinical service, research/development and education/training as assigned.
