Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
• 0-1 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience required

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares, verifies, and dispenses medications in compliance with prescription orders and standards.
• Counsels patients and families on proper medication use and adherence strategies.
• Reviews medication orders for appropriateness and optimizes therapy with providers.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and staff to resolve medication-related issues.
• Maintains documentation in the electronic health record and supports medication safety initiatives.
