Job summary

Mercy seeks a licensed Clinical Pharmacist for a PRN role in a retail setting. You will oversee medication preparation, verify orders, monitor therapy, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

You'll supervise pharmacy staff as needed, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide drug information to patients and healthcare teams while supporting safe, effective therapy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Current Pharmacist License issued by the applicable State Board.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred but new pharmacists are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and enter medication orders for accuracy and safety.
• Oversee preparation, labeling, dispensing, and delivery of medications.
• Monitor patient therapy and provide clinical recommendations to optimize outcomes.
• Identify and resolve medication-related problems in collaboration with physicians.
• Counsel patients and families on medications and safety.
