Job summary

Meijer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care and medication safety in our retail pharmacy. You will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and maintain excellent relationships with customers and team members.

The role requires a PharmD/PhBCP, active state license, and knowledge of immunization services. You will mentor technicians, ensure policy compliance, and support operation of the pharmacy with a patient-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians and expand pharmacy services.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and Meijer policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to resolve issues.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
