Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide safe, accurate prescription filling and patient care. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, managing operations when the pharmacist in charge is unavailable, and guiding technicians to improve performance.

Qualified candidates will hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, be licensed, and have immunization certification. Retail experience and knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations are essential for success at Meijer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Perform clinical services such as immunizations where allowed.
