Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in a community setting. You will fill prescriptions safely, counsel patients, and support immunization services.

You will lead and mentor technicians, uphold Meijer policies and state laws, and collaborate with clinicians and store leadership to advance patient care and the pharmacy business. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Oversee clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage pharmacy operations.
