Job summary

Meijer is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions accurately and maintain strong patient relationships while leading and mentoring pharmacy technicians to support patient care goals.

The role requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, state licensure, and immunization credentials, with experience in a retail setting. Immunizations and patient education are key components of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (where applicable).
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
• Educate and mentor technicians to improve performance and growth.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Perform clinical services where allowed, including immunizations.
